Almost Feels Like You Are There

As my first post, I have explored other blogs of photography, paintings, and illustrations, but the one that really caught my eye was the blog of Karen Winters. The name of her blog is called "The Creative Journey" in which her paintings says it all. Because I love scenery paintings, I was automatically stuck on her page, but I felt that I was actually surrounded in that particular environment that she painted. The contrast between the bright, warm colors and the darker, shading colors makes the environment very realistic as if it was an actually photograph. I love the paintings of various environments during the sunset because she really picked up the warm colors of the trees, or sand, and even the setting sun, but also the cool colors of the incoming darkness. If you really love scenery paintings, you will love Karen Winters' painting. Almost feels like you are there!
